ABOUT THIS TREATMENT
The purpose of the radiofrequency is to heat the tissue to be treated, activating different action mechanisms. Dermoheat uses both Resistive Radio Frequency and Capacitive Radio Frequency. Resistive RF produces heat that is mainly generated in the area close to the electrode, progressing to the deeper layers whereas Capacitive RF produces heat deeper and evenly in the tissues. Capacitive RF is an extremely safe and selective method of raising the internal temperature of the skin and adipose tissue.
The application can be performed, depending on the type of appliance and system:
- Bipolar Head – Acts nearer the surface of the skin, recommended for facial treatments or surface conditions. Its action is basically superficial. . cellulite, with a small fat component.
- Monopolar Head – Has a deeper effect, and is recommended for body treatments
- Small bipolar – suitable for facial treatments
- Large bipolar – for superficial body conditions, especially flaccid skin and such as cellulite, with a large fat component or muscle strains.
